Summary

ArcTouch helped SKIMS, the innovative brand known for "the next generation of underwear, loungewear, and shapewear," create its first mobile app. This was a crucial step in launching SKIMS' new loyalty program, which gives customers special access and rewards.

Our team created iOS and Android apps with a versatile tech foundation, including the middleware that makes everything run smoothly. This ensures SKIMS can forge a strong brand connection and offer exciting product drops, personalized suggestions, and a truly engaging loyalty experience, all on their customers' phones.

First mobile app for groundbreaking fashion brand

We developed the first app for SKIMS, one of the top retailers on the Shopify e-commerce platform and one of TIME's 100 Most Influential Companies.

Powering an exclusive loyalty program

We created the technical backbone for SKIMS' app-only loyalty program, giving dedicated customers early access and special perks.

Complex integrations made simple

Our team built a robust middleware API (BFF) to integrate the app with over a dozen services across SKIMS’ composable e-commerce platform, delivering blazing-fast performance and rock-solid reliability. Integration points included a rich editorial headless CMS, e-commerce platform, semantic AI search, personalization and recommendation systems, and a loyalty program.

Easy content updates

Built on a scalable design system, the app empowers the SKIMS team to refresh content, manage promotions, and publish quickly with confidence. Its architecture seamlessly blends editorial storytelling with e-commerce functionality, capturing the essence of the SKIMS brand in one unified experience.
