What You’ll Achieve

  • Architect & Own: You will architect and own the development of robust, scalable Android applications with up-to-date technologies such as Kotlin and Jetpack Compose using modern principles like S.O.L.I.D., MVVM/MVP, and contemporary design patterns.
  • Lead & Mentor: You will lead and mentor a team of Android developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and high-quality code through insightful code reviews and technical guidance.
  • Partner with Clients: You will act as the key technical partner for our US and EMEA clients, translating business needs into technical solutions and confidently guiding conversations on project scope and timelines.
  • Champion Quality: You will champion a culture of quality by implementing and advocating for comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, and UI tests) to ensure our applications are performant and reliable.
  • Shape Our Team: You will shape the future of our team by participating in the hiring process, helping us identify and attract top Android talent to our growing chapter.

Who You Are

  • Professional fluency in English, with the ability to lead technical discussions with international stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, Modularization, testing (Espresso).
  • Proven experience designing and implementing mobile architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and a strong grasp of S.O.L.I.D. principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity, comfortable guiding other developers and improving team practices.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Comfortable with VIPER and legacy patterns.
  • KMP experience.
  • A passion for sharing knowledge through tech talks, study groups, or writing.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.

BRASIL REMOTE WORK: This position is remote-friendly in Brasil only. If you miss being in the office, we have a great one in Florianópolis where you can also choose to work from.
This is just a reminder that remote employees also need to live in Brazil (we hire international professionals only for some specific openings).
