Role Expectations:
- Build, develop, and lead a highly engaged and performing team.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to discuss career progression and performance, providing continuous and constructive feedback, and championing your team's successes.
- Lead formal performance reviews and advocate for your team's compensation and promotion recommendations.
- Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe environment.
- Mediate interpersonal conflicts, organize team-building activities, and ensure your team members feel connected to our company's culture and values.
- Assess your team's skills, identify gaps, and collaborate with the People Team on hiring and training initiatives.
- Support technical candidate assessment and the recruitment process.
- Manage team capacity and forecast future hiring needs to support our project pipeline.
- In partnership with Product and Account Managers, align resource allocation with project priorities and career development.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for your team, ensuring they understand their responsibilities.
- Monitor workloads, address and resolve blockers, and ensure the team adheres to best practices and standards.
- Facilitate communication within your team and with stakeholders.
- Report on key team metrics to leadership.
On a typical day with us, you will:
- Engage in meaningful 1:1 conversations, understanding individual needs and aspirations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Tech Leads to optimize team performance and resolve emerging challenges.
- Analyze team metrics to identify trends and propose improvements for team health and productivity.
- Facilitate team discussions, ensuring everyone feels heard and contributes to a positive, productive environment.
- Support onboarding new talent, ensuring they feel welcomed and integrated into our culture.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous feedback, fostering growth and learning.
