Role expectations:
- Design and build readable code, focusing on Swift, Swift UI, Object-Oriented Programming, and Functional Programming, applying best practices.
- Collaboratively define and enhance software architecture.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to product and project decisions.
- Engage in client meetings and contribute with a technical perspective.
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts: Can effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences, including clients and prospects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: Can confidently present technical solutions to clients, highlighting their benefits and addressing their concerns.
- Mentor teammates to foster growth within the team.
- Stay updated with platform trends and actively participate in knowledge-sharing events.
- Assist clients in enhancing the quality, performance, and maintainability of existing projects.
- Play an active role in the hiring process to attract top talent to our team.
On a typical day with us you will:
- Participate in stand-up meetings with your team and project stakeholders.
- Help your teammates with discussions about technical issues and possible solutions.
- Evaluate existing code finding new approaches to improve code readability and maintainability.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends on the platform to take advantage of new tools and technologies, so we can implement cutting-edge accessibility solutions.
- Share knowledge and help develop less experienced team members.
- Work closely with design and management teams and help shape and improve the way we develop lovable apps for our clients.
- Actively participating in meetings with the client, presenting the best technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain accessible iOS applications using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Integrate accessibility features into existing and new app features.
- Conduct accessibility audits and testing using assistive technologies like UIAccessibility, VoiceOver, Switch Control, and other accessibility tools.
- Provide guidance and training to other developers on accessibility best practices.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure accessibility is considered from the initial design phase.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest accessibility guidelines and technologies (WCAG, iOS accessibility APIs).
- Advocate for accessibility within the organization and promote a culture of inclusivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve accessibility-related issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of accessibility guidelines and documentation.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss accessibility requirements and solutions (depending on the specific role and client interaction).

REMOTE WORK: This position is remote friendly. If you miss to be in the office, we have a great one in Florianópolis and you can also choose to work from there after the pandemic. Just a reminder: remote employees also need to live in Brazil (we hire international professionals only for some specific openings)
