Historically, booking a private jet has been a cumbersome process, often involving phone calls and paperwork. And for users, finding information like flight options and pricing has been difficult and time consuming. The Skyjet app design, along with development on the company’s back end system, helped bring the key information to within a few touches on an iPhone. “Delivering transparency and a simple user experience in this industry is an enormous leap,” Fingerman said. “This is a case where the engineering behind the scenes was the true hero — even the best mobile user experience can be shackled if the tech can’t deliver on the promise.” In Skyjet’s [press release](https://www.skyjet.com/press/skyjet-wins-best-mobile-travel-user-experience-at-eyefortravels-mobile-innovation-in-travel-awards/) announcing the mobile app award, president Greg Richman said: “We are proud to have won the Best Mobile Travel User Experience award from a field of finalists that included some of the biggest names in travel.
