Process

ArcTouch’s Quantum Development process integrates product management, architectural design, engineering, and user interface design into a seamless, iterative, and agile methodology that ensures rapid development while responding quickly to changing customer requirements. Quantum is a highly flexible development process and provides continuous feedback on the project’s progress through a completely transparent and open reporting system.

Every two weeks, customer requirements are reviewed with the client and prioritized by product and engineering management. The product architects, graphic designers, and engineers then work on the tasks, updating the project status daily. At the end of the two-week Quantum cycle, a fully functional bug-free product release is completed that meets the agreed upon requirements. Unlike traditional software development – you will be able to see and touch (actually install on your phone and try out!) the product on a regular basis. Then the next two-week Quantum cycle begins again.

The Quantum process starts with a conceptual agreement between the client and ArcTouch about the goals for the project with a target delivery time and cost goal. Unlike a typical consulting project where requirements are locked and a scope of work is difficult to change mid-stream, the Quantum process reevaluates requirements every cycle. This way, a project can easily change mid-course to accommodate customer feedback and new business requirements. These regular opportunities for you to review the progress and make corrections ensure your complete satisfaction with the project and guarantee that the mobile software application we deliver will be exactly what you want.

With our Quantum process it’s easy for you to take a “test drive.” We work in 2 week cycles and you can cancel at the end of any cycle – so your cost and commitment is minimized. In just two weeks, you’ll have a working proof of concept for your mobile software showing your user interaction with custom graphics, icons, and more. It will even have some basic business functionality so you’ll be able to get a real sense of what we can do for you.
